14.5% abv. Recent auction purchase (single bottle). Clearly in jammy and overripe territory for me. Highly elevated "sweet tart" type of acidity. Very intense and overbearing on the palate. I don't know, this has a feeling of being acidulated with the winemaker misplacing a decimal point and putting way too much in. Not terrible, but not very enjoyable for me. A fun wine for all kinda of summer bbq. We chose it to go with Traeger smoked bbq pork burgers which was a home run. Drinking in a nice spot now!

Tasted this at the winery. You can def taste the cab franc which, to me, has a very distinct flavor profile. it is a little more subdued, thanks to the merlot. I have a bottle from a previous club shipment and it’s not worth the money for me.

So I opened this too early. Nice blend of Cab Franc (61%) and Merlot (39%) that the Cab Franc dominates right now. I would wait a year minimum to open this and it will be much better. Cab Franc is a little green as always when it's young but a well made wine.
