3 hour decant. Lovely nose of Blackberries which makes it difficult to not smell it all the time. Vanilla, pine and undergrowth. Good acidity but surprisingly little tannin. Great to drink now but maybe not for the long haul like Ricard also mentions.

Impossible not to love this soaring nose of brambly blackberries, leather, pine nuts and a delicious sense of place and history. Wet stones, soil, rainfall and forest floor all wrapped in a beguiling sweetness. Oddly though on the tongue it lacks the expected tannic bite. That doesn't make it disappointing - on the contrary, it makes it easy to drink. However it does mean a lack of structure and this means the wine is not one for the long haul.

NR From DVR, from Lancement and Bassoon plots, and 5% Viognier, new and seasoned oak of various sizes ... Nose is oaky and vanilla pronounced, spice and bacon coming after but quite overwhelmed right now... Palate is very fresh, med+ length and quite pronounced again with oak flavors and ends in a dry and bitery chocolaty finish... 88/90 for now

Quick note: Blood sausage, umami, olive pit, velvety tannins. Very good!
