Day 1: Rustic wine with unripe strawberries, rose petals, dust, minerals, spice and scorched earth. Medium plus finish. 92 points Day 2: Iron, unripe strawberries, twigs, minerals, spice, earth, mushrooms, rose petals and raspberries. Older World style and medium finish. Drink now. 92 points Day 3: Well 3 day does it again. Dark cherry, iron, minerals, strawberries, rose petals, earth and mushrooms. Medium plus finish. Excellent wine. 93 points Recommendation: Winebid great value

Dark cherry and black dirt on the nose, with some alcohol showing. Nice finish, medium tannins, dark cherry on the palate.

Oregon Tasting with special guest Jade Helm (Common Lot Restaurant - Millburn, NJ) : Second red/pinot of the evening. PnP, drank over an hour, came back to this later and it had improved with air time. Medium ruby color. Vanilla and red fruits on the nose. Palate was bright red fruits, cherry cola, baking spice and earth notes. A bit of heat in this wine and maybe too much oak...but nice enough. Would have been much better with an hour+of …

Focused and pure expression of varietal purity. Elegant perfume, supple, pepper, gripping, and dusty tannins. A mind-bender of tremendous depth and range. This should last for twenty plus years. 94-95.
