A delicious 'village' level wine from declassified grand cru fruit. Even though this is legally dry, there was a softness and depth to the fruit. This racy wines showed notes of oyster shell, white smoke, and Asian pear. There was a lot to like about this wine, particularly for the $20 price tag!

Generisk og litt fenolsk på duft. Noe grønn og bitter i munn. Denne kostet vel bare 10-12 euro, men den er ikke verdt mye mer heller.

Not a favorite of mine. Came across as austere and without any penetrating acidity. Didn't quite drink like a dry wine from anywhere but it came close.

Mid-straw; smoky, wet slate, lemon zest; limes, dry, pinpoint acidity, has a gap; penetrating finish. Drink now & next three years.

Rieslingfeier 2017; 2/17/2017-2/18/2017 (NYC) : Tasted at large walkaround tasting. nice simple dry riesling -- not too much fruit showing, but this would work with food.

Fine spritz; bruised apple, a hint of woodsmoke; lovely drive, crisp, dry, youthful extract; precise finish. Better in 12 months.

Made with fruit sourced mainly from Kröver Steffensberg, but is essentially a declassified top-tier Riesling made from a blend of the fruit sourced from the top vineyards of the winery. 11,5% alcohol. Medium-deep lime green color. Dense, ripe and quite sweet-toned nose with rich, complex and juicy aromas of zesty citrus fruits, perfumed floral tones, some lemon marmalade, a little bit of beeswax, a hint of honeydew melon and a mineral touch of wet stones. The wine is crisp, light-bodied …
