Oliver Hill Wines Malbec

Served at dinner with lamb. Smooth on palate, soft oak and vanilla.

Agree with the previous notes. Doesn't taste like a Malbec, but it isn't bad. At day 2 this was at its peak, but at day 3 was starting to turn. Some quality dark fruit in this.

I expected a lot worse from the previous reviews. Certainly not a great wine, and would never have pegged it as a malbec on a blind tasting. But I found it to be more indistinct than offensive. I'd think of it more as a relatively cheap generic red, and wouldn't have that much remorse if you have a bottle or two in your cellar.

This was not a spectacular bottle of wine. The nose was ok with soft oak. Palate was very good in early stages of bottle with berry and vanilla. Noticeably went flat after 1 hour. Served at 64 deg with cheese and meat.

Really terrible.... I mean really bad in every way. Shame on you Last Bottle for even offering this one.
