As enjoyable as the first bottle

Cloudy magenta. Cherry cola, cedar and sage nose. Medium bodied, dirty cranberries, black cherries, pepper, somewhat woody tannins, and a sappy medium-long finish. Good with dinner, not so good on its own.

PnP and it was bordering on too sweet--right up to the edge. Vacu-vin and into frig. Much more delightful over next two days. Malbec began to shine through balancing some of the jammy Shiraz. Good structure with med-long finish. Good buy.

Pleasant mid-weight wine, no tannins, some eucalyptus and mint.

1/3 bottle opened and tasted immediately. 2/3 remained in bottle (capped) for 24 hours, which greatly helped the wine. Regardless of the amount of air, it's an excellent young wine. Very minty nose, sweet cracked red/white pepper, milk chocolate, tangy raspberry, Now and Later candy, ripe and tart, but tight and lacking some expression on the finish, which should improve with a bit more bottle age. 91-92

Decanted 2 hours. This does a good impression of the Springflat on the nose—extremely minty with eucalyptus and menthol. Medium-bodied palate, high acidity, still young and needing some time to relax. Lots of woodspice-edged raspberry and currant, not a rich or concentrated style, but angular and old world. Will benefit from a couple years of bottle age.

A lot of sweetness but not overpowering. ... Creamy mouthfeel with cherry-mint and cough syrup; slight bit in the throat.
