A blend of old vines (circa 50 years old) in different vineyards. Vinified in steel and then aged for 3 years in old tonneaux. Pale, garnet color. Quite closed upon pop but opens up a bit after an hour in the decanter. The aromas is definitely on the earthy and spicy side and the pretty red fruit is a bit subdued.
