A good solid sangiovese. Paired nicely with our beef stick and cheese appetizer.

From Sunset: Light-bodied, with generous acid. Maryhill’s is rich with black cherry as well as raspberry and a hint of vanilla (there’s 30 percent new French and American oak here). A bit of caramelization sneaks in on this wine’s lingering finish, mellowing that acidity and adding depth. And a dollop of black pepper and green tomato leaf layer on the dark-fruit base. Drink now.
