Excellent. Sweet and complex with great acidity

Despite a solid cork had turned a color more akin to a red wine. Still very good, but lacking the complexity and balance of a truly great dessert wine.

Light caramel color; intense overripe apple; VERY sweet, really rich and opulent, acidity present to keep it somewhat in check; overall impression is sugar, sugar, sugar; more syrup than a wine, but nevertheless nice candy if you have a (very) sweet tooth

In het glas helder, gemiddeld intens en ambergeel. De geur is zuiver en uitgesproken met duidelije tonen van petrol en botrytus. Die geur die vies is maar ook lekker, verwarrend. In de mond tonen van rozijn, jam en een bittertje van sinaasappel. Heerlijk complex.

Tasted at the Whitewater Valley Wine Society dinner, held at Donnington Valley Hotel, UK. Colour is bright, reddish apricot. Nose is characteristically riesling, with some petrol notes. Palate shows more apricot, rich and sweet, good acidity on the finish. Unoaked.

Served with an icy-cold temperature. The wine is still young as the color is still gold. Very viscous wine. On the nose is very floral, raisin, petrol, and ripe mango; all of these elements are pronounced. On the palate is very dense, sweet, and consist of mango, raisin, honeydew melon with medium acidity and medium body. However, not much alcohol was presented. Deep amber-mahogony coloured but this was drinking beautifully. Lusciously sweet but with enough acidity and complex aged flavours.

Wonderful sweet fruit flavor. Fantastic.
