Bonny Doon Vineyard Dolcetto Ca' del Solo Vineyard

Big, excellent wine.

Much nicer than the constant syrah

a little to big for a dolcetto.

Rich, warm, with lots of coffee flavors. A bit too acidic.

Dark, thick purple going into the glass. Inky nose, I'm getting plum skin, blueberry, iodine. Nice mouth feel, plush, almost a concord grape flavor (why does nobody ever say a wine tastes like grapes?) but with more black-skinned plum and some nice earthy minerality on the finish.
