Somewhere between the other reviewers lies my experience of this wine. On the nose this has a heavier, oxidative, Sherry-like feel. The palate, while full, is much lighter than the nose suggests and the acidity is still fairly present. I get apricots, golden raisins, some nuttiness. Had some nice nuttyness on the nose with fresh lemon, pear and mineral. The palate was sappy and rich. The fruit was ripe and zippy but wasn't AS zippy as I would have liked. Still very nice.

No, not good at all. Marred by volatility, unbalanced, overripe, just unimpressive in every way. I liked the 2004, so this is a shame.

Another crazy-wonderful white wine from the Jura. Peter Weygandt imports some of the best and most individualistic white wines from the Jura. This wine is made with 100% savagnin.
