Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, plum clove, potting soil, licorice, camphor and some floral notes. Creamy, supple and full-bodied with some lingering chalky tannins. Red and black fruit, salinity, licorice but an off-putting cherry cough syrup flavor in the mid-palate and finish.

A touch 'dirty' on the nose. Some good plum type fruit, herbs and spices; savoury in nature. Finishes a tad short with some sour type notes. A good BBQ type wine that does not reach any real heights.

Wirra Wirra Wine Dinner with Flagship Wines (Loft Restaurant, St Albans) : Deep ruby Red and blue fruit, a but jammy, Black proper, chocolate. Developing. Dry, med acidity, med (+) ripe tannins, high alcohol, full body. Medium -finish. Good, but a little disappointing on the finish.
