A besoin d’air pour révèler sa véritable nature. À l’ouverture, fait beaucoup plus beaujolais que bourgogne avec certaines notes/végétales et de banane qui finiront par disparaitre après l’aeration en carafe. Se presente alors bien typé sur un beau fruit rouge frais, une belle trame calcaire et acidité rafraichissante.

Nintety year old vines on a sandy plain between Corgoloin and Comblanchien, 40% whole bunch. Decanted. Consistent with my previous note. Open and expressive, bright and precise, crunchy fruit (cherries and raspberries), youthful structure but approachable and attractive, lovely flavours, hint of earth, zesty finish, very good length. Delightful. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years.

Too young. Would benefit from several years. Expressive, from fruits on the nose to pate then apricot towards the end

From a sandy plain between Comblanchien and Corgoloin, 90 year old vines, 50% whole bunch, 12.5% ABV, 8590 bottles produced. I really love the purity and precision, the energy and freshness here. Floral nose, crunchy cherries and raspberries, bright acidity, palpable minerality, barely noticeable oak, hint of cream, paper-fine tannins, youthfully tight but playful finish. My only niggle is an earthy note on nose and palate - it detracts a bit from the overall sense of lift and nobility, but …
