Ripe, non-greenish, Old World Cabernet Franc is always a treat, and this delivers. It won't knock your socks off but it is wholly inviting.

A bit of new world on this bottle but there's a ton of earthy and mineral notes that add complexity. Tannins are rounded and silky-smooth. Finish is brief but fruitful. Overall, a yummy (not jammy) effort.

The chateau is apperently famous because it is a rock. Or at least the name "Laroque" is famous because it is the rock. Lots of Cabernet franc. Power, fresh, fruity, blueberry. Finish is nice and cabernet francy. Tasty stuff for around $15. Red fruit.

Dark red with some light ruby red edges. It had aromas of black and red berries and some oak. It was balanced, smooth, medium bodied and dryness and rich in black and red berry flavors. The finish was clean and medium.
