pretty nose of citrus, a little peach and floral notes in the background. Lots of lovely fresh acidity, citrus, with a little stone fruit and salinity. A class Albariño and will hold for a few more years on this showing and definitely worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago #burgundynick 88 points

By the glass. This is the basic wine of this house. Citrus freshness of acidity and some minerality. That same high acidity showed in the mouth, unbalancing and covering up the rest of the elements. I would advise letting it suffocate for a couple of years. Still, it is really difficult to make a bad wine in Meaño area. Por copas. El básico de esta casa. Frescura cítrica de la acidez y algo de mineralidad. Esa misma acidez disparada se …

With a good Albarino I would always wait a year longer to open it. The patience will always be rewarded. This is a very good example of what a good Albarino can be. Impeccable clarity, a subtle but enticing fruit and this finish refined by an acidity that makes the wine shine and brings out the best in seafood and fish. Drank, like many others in the best wine bar in the whole of Galicia, in the Malauva in Vigo. …

PnP, chilled. Lots of minerality and some pineapple(?) citrus on the nose. The medium bodied palate is refreshing with lots of yellow citrus and minerality, along with notes of salinity. The acidity is vibrant and cleansing. Will hold for another couple of years or so.

This was very nice. Notes of fresh lemons, limes, lemon zest. Oyster shells, brine, and pleasant salinity throughout the palate. Medium bodied, medium + acid. Definitely lives up to what I would expect Albariño from Salnés to be. Paired with a mussel/garlic pasta.

For what it is, one of my favorite summer wines ever. Lip smacking with the salty finish, Citrus fruits on the palate, and loads of freshness. So refreshing.

Awesome value. Bright clean and so refreshing with lovely lemon zest. Great with scallops, lemon butter risotto & asparagus.. Wish I had more of this. It’s springtime in a bottle. Good yum factor & a real crowd pleaser. To bad I’m in a COVID quarantine.

Slightly floral nose with some citrus. The palate has lots more citrus, some apricots and some fresh salty yumminess. This is a delightful fresh wine, more of a summer wine, but had this with a Thai meal and it was a great accompliament at £16 it's priced about right and great example of a rias baixas wine. 88 points

Still drinking very nicely. Reminiscent of a Pepiere muscadet with a few years on it.

Exactly the sort of Albarino you hope to see on a restaurant wine by the glass list for $7 or $8. Somewhat pungent, but not explosive, with a basically typical varietal profile and decent length. The sugar-acid balance is just right, but it has limited range within its frame of lime, ocean, and sugarcane along with walnuts on the back end. Good. I agree that this would match well with sushi, as you can discern a tiny hint of one …

On a warm summer night this paired perfectly with the grilled shrimp and lemon chicken we had with it. Definitely a food wine. Strong citrus edge balanced by pear and just a touch of butter. Excellent this time, and also about 6 months ago with Sushi. Props to Gargiste for the recommendation.

I only had a taste. Complaints of too much acidity, but mostly being quaffed. I think it's pretty good.

Mostly drunk by guests, but tasted briefly -- viscous, saline but also a mixture of ripe sweetness with an herbacious cut. Reminiscent of NZ SB in a way.

A lot more substantial than most Albarinos I've had, but still zippy and refreshing. Very long and just a bit thick. Popular with the girls at our Super Bowl party.

Not as good as my first bottle - perhaps it was just the "Zarate darkness" showing through. Still very good, though.

OK wine based on initial taste. I had this with some cheese and did not really work. Probably needs seafood or something for which the acidiity is a better foil.

Didn't move me like the Garagiste notes but nice wine. Laser of lemon verbena on the nose and palate with a nice finish that includes minerality and dryness. Had this been matched with the right food, easily would have come across "better" (higher score).
