A well made bottle that still has a nice life ahead of it. Currently a medium-dark golden brown color. Nose shows very well with wonderful aromas of apricot, ripe pineapple and candied lemon. Even better was the palate and the finish as the winemaker somehow manages an ever so slightly savory finish of salted caramel to emerge. Very pleasant and interesting. The highly aromatic nose is intense with lovely ripe peach, honey, and lemon citrus aromas with a hint of melon. The full-bodied, viscous palate has very good fruit concentration with lusciously sweet aroma replays that are balanced with bracing, juicy acidity. The finish length is excellent. Score: 91+ pts
