TASTING: Montepulciano versus Montalcino (Apeldoorn) : chocolate, mushrooms, shows its age, but not really tired. still fruity and juicy. great taste. aristocratic wine

6 Italian Reds Tasted at Primas. At $44.97, was not cheap but what flavors! Rich, leathery nose followed by an elegant taste of well balanced wine similar to a great Bordeaux, long, long, rich finish. Will improve for 7 years and drink over the next 15 years.
