Tried this out of curiosity to compare with a Savennieres. This drinks a whole lot stronger than the 12.5% label. An interesting mashup of lemon and lime zest with brown sugar and spice; not much in the middle of the spectrum between those two sets of flavors. Agree with prior notes finding some straw / grassy elements. Not bad but can’t say I enjoyed this either.

Beeswax-y tropical and stoned fruits on the nose, definitely lychees in there. Both the flavour and that almost grainy texture of lychee continue on the palate before alternate waves of dark honey and pithy lime permeate your mouth on the finish. Glorious.
