Unctuous, nice acidity, marmalade, fig, raisins. Long finish. Still going strong. Prior notes are instructive.

Nose with ripe fig, caramel. Nicely balanced palate. Not too sweet, some citrus. Good fruity freshness. Long pleasant finish.

Amazing bottle. Last vintage before Alois passed away I believe. Light and airy and powerful. Almost muscat-like.

Kracher Tasting (TCWE, St. Paul, MN) : Deep gold color. 2oz pour over 90 minutes form 500ml, 12% ABV. Love the nose, more complex, very nutty, citrus, lifted, tangerine, tropical. The palate has pineapple, tangerine, peach, silky, fuller bodied and a mouth coating texture, caramel, good acidity here. Loved it and my wine of the flight.

I'm with A. Galloni on this wine - rich, floral, honeyed, viscous, gorgeous wine. I sampled this with foie gras and figs. A treat.

Bronze center, dark yellow rim, some signs of age. Fruity, some acidity, apricots, almonds, lychees, citrus zest, mown grass, botrytis, lime. Sweet, smooth and rich, almonds and gasoline, lychees and tropical fruit, lemons, modest acidity, perfume and delicate flowers, sauterne-like, great length. Excellent sweet wine, balances intense fruit, acidity and age. Will improve over the next 5 years but drinks very well now.
