My Grade: EX. Big, generous and delicious Cab/Grenache blend. Deep, dusty Ruby, nose of candied cherries, blackberries, saddle leather and some funk. Lush mouthfeel, generous red and black fruit, juicy mid-level acidity, low tannins, some heat and minerality on the mid palate, medium-length sour cherry finish. Excellent value for drinking now and near term.

Tasted blind. Syrah nose, very ripe with notes if white pepper. Harsh acidity (feels like correction), a bit sweet. Nice if you like this sort of big fruity wine.
