Guilhem et Jean-Hugues Goisot Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Blanc

C'est un grand vin, en dépit d'une appellation peu prestigieuse. Je défie le dégustateur de ne pas citer "Chablis 1er cru" (voire mieux...) à l'aveugle. Une acidité vibrante, beaucoup de matière, du soleil sans l'alcool. Chapeau!

Pretty subtle Chardonnay from Cote d’Auxerre for little money. The 9 Euro are really very well spent. Every plain Chardonnay should be like that. Very well balanced, not too plain and very good integrated light wood aroma. The Coupe de Garde and La Gorronde are even better.

Bright rich wine with nice lift, very good thrust, and a surprise - a bit of oak. But it worked ok and I liked this wine a whole lot. The hypernatural flair came through as well. If someone handed this to me blind and said PC Chablis, I'd nod in agreement... I have had three or four different wines from Goisot and I've liked each one a fair amount.

On peut passer à côté si ce vin est servi trop froid. La complexité est limitée à ce stade mais il y a une vraie structure et une vraie élégance.
