Union of Winemaking Cooperatives of Samos Muscat Anthemis

Deep amber colour. It has medium+ intensity aromas of raisins, prunes, honey and dry peaches. It is sweet with a medium acidity. It has a medium+ body and pronounced intensity flavours with coffee and toffee notes not detected in the nose. The finish is long. Very good wine with a lot of concentration and a lingering finish. It shows some complexity in the palate.

Good value stickie to accompany xmas pud.

A little simple, but at the price I'm not too disappointed by that. Very rich and sweet - perhaps could have done with a little more acidity, but that's probably just my personal preference rather than any issue with the wine. Nutty, caramel notes and a very raisiny, heavy palate.
