Black Lion Wine Club - Central Italy Whites and Tuscan Reds (The Black Lion) : Deep ruby colour. Ripe and dried dark fruit, cherry, bramble, chocolate. Developing. Dry, med+ acidity, med tannins, very ripe, med alcohol and body, medium finish. Good quality but fairly basic Sangiovese.

Cracking value for money @ 8.95 Euros The longer it sits in the glass the sweeter it tastes, luckily counterbalanced with tannins, fruit and a little woodsmoke. Well worth trying. This wine will not improve through cellaring and is good to go.
