Dr. Heinrich Nägler Rüdesheimer Berg Schloßberg Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel

Some darkening evident. Peach and nectarine aromatics with background white flowers and some licorice. Rich and fairly concentrated on the palate with pit fruit plus tangerine pith. Decent acidity to cut the residual sugar, but despite a sort of salty note, there’s not really any stoniness or minerality. Nice enough Riesling, but done in a style that emphasizes opulent fruit rather than racier elements.
