Elena Walch, Chardonnay, Alto Adige

I've visited this winery in Sudtirol a few times and it's one of my favorites for Pinot Bianco and Gewurtztraminer. I found this Chardonnay locally in Nevada and it's my first time tasting it. I am happily surprised with the depth and elegant character of this wine. Notes of Meyer lemons, then Apple, Pineapple, and light vanilla. Lasting on the palate, nicely balanced acidity.
