Ansitz Waldgries St. Magdalener Classico

Some dear friends of ours came over this evening to see our newborn, Austin, for a night of pizza & wine. I popped this nerdy wine so we could get geeky and it sure delivered. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, cranberry, green almond and flower stems. Blackberry jam and tar on the palate. More bitterness emerges once it breathes. Barely perceptible tannins with nice acidity. Really enjoyable.
