And another 4 plus years after my last note and a similar feeling and score. Seems to be holding but a notch notch less dry with leaves this in a food matching limbo - spicy food perhaps but best on its own? It did hold up well with a very very mature soft goats cheese.

Just over 4 years after my last note, and this bottle was surprisingly mature (bottle variation?) and notably off dry. Colour now very full. Still sufficient length and complexity but based on this bottle, time to drink up.

Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer blend from the Rangen de Thann Grand Cru. Tremendously poised, dry, long, plenty of acidity. Beginning to drink well but will last. Delicious

Yummy. Enjoying this field blend, which seems to make it more versatile than any of the varietals alone. Pear and grapefruit on the nose. Palate of spiced kumquat. Oily palate. Just wanted to keep drinking this.

Intriguing nose, sweet grapefruit, lime, white pepper notes. Flowers, a bit of oak, again lime on the palate, green fruit, very pleasant acidity, medium finish. Refreshing and unusual, but not sure about the QPR.
