Wine dinner at Corney & Barrow with Marty Edwards of The Lane Vineyard. Limited notes on selected wines. Brought over specially for the dinner. 100% Chardonnay matured on its lees for five years before disgorgement. Russett apple, hay and green herb. Full with a prickly foaming mousse. Very good if not the subtlest glass of bubbles. Accompanied the canapés well. For drinking on release. At A$55 a bit pricey?
