Union of Winemaking Cooperatives of Samos Hermitis Samos

Rich, earthy, soft, orange fruit, floral, pretty interesting

Random wines tried before service (Oinoscent) : This is Muscat from 600m altitude, matured in oak for 12 months, 13% alc The nose is a bit shy, showing roses, floral notes, pink and red fruit, pink grapefruit, peach, mandarin, red cherry, roses and rosewater. The palate shows the same profile as the nose, has a tannic bite, high acidity, earthy and gamey notes, peach, red currant, medium body and finish. It’s a bit harsh to try on its own
