Lemoncello. 9-23-22. A+++. Not too big. Great right out of the bottle dark fruit still present.

GGs vs. 1er Cru Burgs (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA) : (Next to Pritchard Hill) Black very inky in color; black fruit on the nose, almost cooked, very intense and imposing @ 15.8%, thankfully those fine tannins don’t leave too much grit on the palate to make this wildly out of balance.

Fantastic given the price. Very enjoyable now. But make no mistake, this is a beast when you open it. Give it air. Gobs of red, black and blue mountain fruit. Multilayered. Sturdy tannins on the finish demand a steak. Long finish as the tannins diminish. This could go another 5-8 years but it's awesome now. In the sub-$100 crowd this is tough to beat if you like mountain fruit.

deep purple-red color, black plums, liqueur, blackberries and oak on the nose, on the palate an overly jammy fruit that faded quickly under a whiskey-barrel oak flavor that took over, long but bitter finish. 0, out of balance beyond hope
