Blind tasted : this wine has dark notes like smoke, graphite, tobacco, brown leather. It is aristocratic, and well made, actually it is at his peak. It is a medium bodied. I've matched the vintage and the left bank side of Bordeaux. Drink it now. A good second wine wine of a cru bourgeois.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, from the bottle, 12.5 % alcohol; recommended by the wine store for sampling of Bordeaux. Mixed opinions. J'avais un peu d'appréhension, car pour avoir bu du Sociando sur 3-4 millésimes dont des plus anciens, j'avais toujours été un peu déçu de retrouver ces arômes puissants de poivrons verts. Cependant, la Demoiselle s'est avérée être un type de vin agréablement différent. Nez profond de cuir, de fruits noirs cuits, de réglisse et de notes empyreumatiques.
