Served blind in a line up of Oregon/Burgund Chardonnay; very bright and fresh; mineral, green pear, yellow apple, lemon peel, saline; taut and incisive on the palate but still with good intensity of fruit and length; very enjoyable; natural cork, wax seal.

(Blind) At first was a bit disjointed and unbalanced but opened up after a couple hours and showed some nice mojito-like key lime and mint notes. Natural cork.

PnP, non-blind, own bottle. Glass: Unknown (Döllerer Burgundy Vinophil?). Pale gold. Needed ~1h in decanter to open, still a bit shy. Pears, flowers, citrus lift, mineral undertone. Elegant, focused, slightly lean but delicious. Long finish. For me the most complete wine vs. Morey Perrières 2020 & Sabathi Pösnitzerberg Kapelle 2020. Sadly my first and last bottle, but I'm keen to try the 2022 soon.

This was lovely; hint of reduction, mineral, green pear, green apple, floral notes; lithe and mineral with a racy and fresh feel. Very tasty. Natural cork with wax seal.

Solid and complete as always, but with more acidity and less body than usual. Lots of lemon, a little gunflint. Long finish. Solid, but not among the best vintages I had of this.

Consumed over 3 days. Young and nubile so pretty austere acidity on first day. Really loosened up by day 3. The precision and delineation of tropical and citrus notes was impressive for such a young wine. My good buddy @liteitonfire is to thank because I knew nothing of this producer until he started lacing my cellar with these.

2021 Burgundies: Côte de Nuits reds and Côte de Beaune whites : mid-yellow colour. clean nose of pear, fresh peach, delicate white blossoms, beeswax, and a note of oak. of silky texture, a mineral vein leads to subtle but growing fruit flavours deftly lifted by a pleasant acidity. some accents come into display and tend to be herbal and spicy rather than nutty. elegant, balanced and long. needs a couple to a handful of years and should age beautifully. 13.5% …

Great stuff here, changes in the glass with air. On opening, more lemon oil, orange flesh, pineapple...more unctuous. When the air comes through, it drops out some of the richness. Some green apple comes in, with Brig suggesting some bruised apple. For me, with what seems like some new barrel influence, caramel apple is what I get. Finishes with some lemon pith. Showy, flashy at this young stage.

Forward nose of white flower and brown sugar. Clean, fragrant and nuanced with high toned floral notes, honey, stones, and citrus instead of the typical orchard profile. Nose is captivating and delicate with deep soul, hard to put down. Palate certainly leaner for this bottling but focused, serious, and long. A good expression. Took 3/4 hours to come into its own.
