Nice wellrounded Primitivo. Just as fruity as the very best Zinfandels in Cali, which are the same grape, only misnamed. But what the real Primitivos from Italy achieve are these earthy deep flavors beyond the Cali ones. Not even 50 USD cali zins achieve this depth of flvaour that is achieved in its original terroir. Stellar value.

heavy brooding intense fruity. totally out of touch with its 7 euro price. wow. not for everyday, but for strong cheese or red meat grill..

Very fruity nose, intense aromas of cherry, blackberries, boysenberries. Sweet and intense in the mouth, pretty long. Reminds me of Californian Zinfandel.
