Light lemon-gold, nose of apples still on the tree, tart-fresh apple/peach palate to a similar finish, all overlaid with clean stoniness. Very nicely balanced and refreshing, fine as an apertif or with light food.

Pale yellow-green, extraordinarily light and yes, stony on the palate, reminds me of lemon sorbet, but certainly not sweet; perhaps this wine is slightly alkaline, it is totally dry but barely tart and obviously not tannic. Long and fragrant finish, more flowers and some spice.

Leave it to Cris to bring yet another very nice tasting QPR french white. Bit of sea air, some lime and grapefruit and a nice drying, stony finish. Price is said to be about $10. Very good.

Pre-Poker Blind and Not (Main Street Wine Cellar, Seal Beach, CA) : Nose of sweet flowers, honeysuckle, peach pit and minerals. Very stony with pears and a strong finish. This came off a bit like a Sauv Blanc. I still love it. Very good.

I am really beginning to appreciate the consistency of both the winemaker and the varietal. This is one of those wines I never would have tried without Garagiste and the QPR is fantastic.

Plastic cork. Lot's of quince initially with a touch of minerals. Juicy with plenty of acidity. This changed quite a bit over the evening. It became very perfumey after an hour or so and even later picked up a strong tart peach character. Very good and this bottle was a step up from my last. A bargain.

clean, crisp, a bit too acidic, yet showing nice citrus and apple fruit. Great value.

Clean, fresh and delicious. A slight, but noticeable, step down from the vielles vignes.

Plastic cork. Strong mineral character on the nose that follows through to the palate. Tart finish behind grapefruit and quince notes. Not a lot of concentration or heavily fruited but refreshing with plenty of acidity. Somewhere between a Pouilly Fume and a Muscadet. Terrific value.

Ask me what I think about this wine in the Summer...not feeling it in January on a cold and wet night. Very acidic, but light...an apple spritzer.

Needs to be drunk at room temp for optimal deliciousness.

Beautiful nose of white peach, sweet citrus, and jasmine - I also get fresh spring water, like what you get when you are on a hike and come upon a stream or river. Fantastic. On the palate, citrus, green apple, some minerality - rather clean and crisp finish, great acidity overall. I wish I had purchased a case of it.

Pale yellow in the glass. Very "delicate" nose of light citrus and apples. Extremely light and crisp citrusy palate. Perfect summer sipper.

It's unfortunate that Summer has passed, because this is the perfect wine for hot sun and grilled fish. Light bodied but quite intense. Extremely fresh, like infused mountain rainwater. Subtle notes of citrus and green apples frame this acidic, spry wine. Not a ton going on, but it's delicious.

Delicious as usual. It tastes like the mountain air. Crisp, fresh and refreshing.

I assume this would have shined more on a hot summer day. Incredibly refreshing and light. Tastes like a good sancerre / muscadet combo, but lighter... Lost a lot of its freshness on the 2nd night and not nearly as enjoyable. Don't sit on it too long.
