Oakridge Shiraz Vineyard Series Yarra Valley

A wetter and cooler vintage gives a more savoury and lighter bodied wine than usual.The nose shows cassis, tobacco and herbs with integrated French oak. The palate is medium bodied with typical cassis but also some red currant, herbs and mint. It has good acid and moderate tannins and finishes well but a little short. A pleasant Yarra Valley wine but I’d like more depth and intensity.
