Saint Clair Family Estate Syrah Gimblett Gravels

Dark cherries, blueberries, oaky notes. Medium body, tannins and acid. Quite refreshing after opening, but fruit notes faded quickly with air. Decanting at this point of development not advised, and also not suited for further cellaring. Very good still, but probably on the decline.
