Lovely fruit and well balanced. Long finish. Very much enjoyed. Definitely has years left of greatness.

First bottle of a “ six pack”. A strong First one with a subtile broad nose. Depth & freshness. I’ll be happy to follow the lifecycle of this wine the next five years. Me as amateur: 90-92 points. I Will visit Jean Tardy for a local inspection and experience!

Bright ruby. Balanced; lively and lovely dark fruit with a touch of earth and white pepper. Fine finish. Compared with a couple other Tardy village 09s, which we had the week before, this is far more elegant and refined. Unlike some others from this same vineyard (including 2010-12?), we think we notice less oak this year. Very nice stuff over three nights, with some gain in development/ complexity during that time (maybe best on day two).
