Interesting. Agree not fruit forward. At this stage probably drink it up. Integrated and drinking well

Belle robe dorée aux aromes de banane, citron et une pointe de minéralisée. Pas trop boisé, typique d’un chardonnay du Niagara.

Not fruit-forward, but mineral forward. Nose: humble citrus and melon. Initially had a little malty reductive twist which dissapeared soon. Palate: Attack is bone dry with nice mineral backbone, then it steadily gains chardonnay weight in mouth. Saline oakiness gradually emerges, keeping exact pace with thickning mouthfeel. Finish is both flinty and zesty, long dry burnt afternose. All the shifts are so seamless, bringing solid honest appearance. Modest, but certainly contains something delicious.

High acid, fresh, mineral, lime, citrus, really zesty and defined, with just a hint of oak on the nose. Really delicious.

A Visit to Tawse Winery (Tawse Winery) : A more straightforward example of the Tawse Chardonnay style but cut from the same cloth as the Quarry Road. Minerality is prominently featured but there is a touch more perceived oak but also strangely it comes across as a bit more tight and a little less giving. Lacking bit in complexity over the Quarry Road today. Still featuring sufficient acid and minerality on the palate. Nicely done.
