Tenuta Meraviglia Botro Dei Fichi

By the glass at the BA Lounge, LHR. Freshly opened. Clean and fresh but also with a bitter edge and a difficult feel. An ok white but a touch difficult.

Pale gold. Nose sharply citric, this carries to the palate. Strongly lemony, maybe a bit of grass (but not lemongrass), highly tangy and acidic. it's somewhat one dimensional. Would work better on a warm Italian quayside than in a UK airport lounge!
