Vaso Cabernet Sauvignon

PnPd two consistent bottles. This is ready to go. Thought it’d be too oaky or too smoky but it’s pretty seamless and faultless. Gulpable really. Not great QPR up here in Canuckistan but a very good effort from a challenging vintage.

By the glass. Only 10% of new wood and yet it is felt both on the nose and palate. Earthy, spicy aromas of nuts and black currants. Another wine with great body, density galore, hard tannins and a mineral aftertaste. It needs a rest for another five years minimum. Por copas.
