See note of February, 2024. As previous notes. However, a light butteriness has presented, plus that smokiness and tickle to the palette one experiences with a Pouilly-Fumé. A truly exceptional, extraordinary and captivating wine. I suspect, much overlooked for enjoyment.

No detailed notes. A bit more mature than the first bottle of this wine, drunk in February 2024. Still very nice! 91-92.

Nice tropical fruit with hints of mango and banana and a modest acidity. A well balanced, rather soft, delicate and rather complex wine. Delicious. Indeed a nice match with mussels, and probably also with cheeses like Comte, Reblochon and St. Nectaire. 92

Coravined a half bottle to assess a reference for future tasting. Three and a half bottles left. Reveal approaching one hour from initial pour. Soft but translucent amber-green in colour. Nose: slight smoke, subtle scents of guava, white peach, lentil, and sweet peas. Light oily viscosity. Dry, with soft mouthfeel. Fresh and joyful but subdued; young, so much more to anticipate. Delightful. Shall decant remaining half bottle for two hours and compare. Suggest oysters, prawns, scallops, crab, etc. Delicate white …

Bright yellow. First fresh. A bit of fruit vanishes quickly and gives way to more balsamic notes like hay, wax. Fresh tree bark. First second better in the mouth with fresh acidity and a creamy mouthfeel. Turns quickly a bit unpleasant. Retronasal balsamic in the mouth which stays unpleasingly long. 13 vol alcohol are present. My wife denied drinking. Better on day 2. Unpleasant aromas are muted however acidity is down too.

Auberge Dab lunch with plateau magnifique. Charming nose of lemon, a little hazelnut, med+ richness more lemon and a fine long saline finish. Perfect with the seafood. I really enjoyed this.

Enjoyable. But definitely no rush to drink. 5 left and I plan to save at least a few for the end of this decade.

Pale yellow color. Aromas of citrus, banana skins, floral bouquet and minerals. Ripe, nicely balanced fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Lively and persistent on the palate. Though young, delicious and detailed. Very impressive for a second wine.

A collector friend opened this with dinner tonight. Drank my very last bottle a few months back.....what luck! On nose and palate: balanced notes of citrus, oak, melon, roasted almonds, figs, and more firm acidity, and less barley sugar notes.....full bodied , elegant and still age worthy....a finish with notes of ginger and green peach.

Drinking excellently now and will improve in the next 3 or 4 years. Balanced acidity and richness for a sauvignon Blanc with a distinct white flower and iodine note that complement this wine wonderfully. Drank well with shrimp, angel hair, and extra virgin olive oil and would be great with shrimp scampi generally I had half the bottle. Drunk over one night. Vvv

Vibrant, fresh and juicy with all the green apples, grapefruit and sweet lemon rind you could ask for. Luscious, fresh, fruity and already a treat to taste. Drink from 2022-2028. The wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Drink from 2022-2028.

Really needing to be drunk up soon, it is rich on the palate with peach and a clean crisp finish.

So....4th and LAST bottle of this wine! On nose and palate: barley sugar, tart apple and lemon curd....as it warms up, ginger, roasted almonds, sea salt , and a dry floral character, on a rich, medium body braced with still clean present acidity....great with salmon or pasta Alfredo with cream sauce. PS: this wine is the same price as the underwhelming Cakebread Sauv Blanc 2020, recently tasted!

Bottle #3. Over a year since last tasted. On nose and palate: all flavours and nuances intact , with a slight softening of the acidity, the wine appears richer, without being heavy , or overly oaked. Notes of ginger, and a ghost of lilac flower enhance the complex notes of barley sugar , lemon and tart apple ...smoke and fresh pineapple , with a clean sea salt finish ....no hint of oxidation after 9 years....I have ONE more bottle.

Grapefruit, green apple, honeysuckle, mango, banana and a touch of vanilla make a beautiful nose. Lush, fresh, juicy and with sweet yellow fruits and white flowers in the mouth. This is a serious white Bordeaux that sells for a song. The wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. 92 Pts

The #2 bottle of this wine: Well.....over a year ago I reviewed a bottle of this property that was underwhelming....this isn't!. On nose: as before , notes of barley sugar , apple and meyer lemon. On palate : follow through of ALL above flavours , woven into subdued oak, notes of smoke, spiky , refreshing pineapple , lively minerality and a whisp of salted butter with lively acidity and a note of tangerine as it warms up after an hour …

Nice floral and good dose of mineral. Some gooseberry and kiwi fruit. Would be very good when it has some weight in a few years time.
