Georges Duboeuf Pouilly-Fuissé

Lurking in a wine refrigerator I found this bottle from 83'. It showed no draw down at all and the cork, which split while taking out, had done it's job for the last 31 years, the wine was intact. On the rustic side with a mellow oakiness to it, this was smooth and slightly orange like on the palate. Can't say how often I will find a bottle of lower end chard that lasted as long as this did.
