Not that often do I get to write the 1st CT TN on a wine. Being North Carolinian I am always interested in the development of local wineries and as broad statement right now the whites pretty easily outshine the reds with their being several quite decent NC (non-Muscadine) whites in production but overall the success with the reds has been modest when compared to benchmark wines of the same grape varietal from elsewhere.
