Lots of stem character, great perfume. I find myself wishing for just a little more textural body or overt fruit on the palate to balance the ample acidity. Perhaps time will bring it. I can see why Jamet fans are rushing to buy this.

Transparent crimson in the glass. The nose on this is something else. Incredibly precise and delineated blackberry fruit. Layers of savoury character with smoked meat, olive and aromatic dried herbs. Very harmonious. Precision transfers to the medium bodied palate with concentrated blackberry flavours culminating in a very long, spiced and delicately peppery finish. Serious persistence. Lovely structure with fine tannins and great freshness. Young now of course but already offering so much enjoyment. The best is yet to come though.

Violet, bubblegum, bacon fat, black olive. Deep, dark, sweet fruit: inky and peppery. Just a touch ripe in this primary phase: with all that aromatic intensity it's almost cloying - but then I don't suppose it's for drinking now. With 10 years under its belt to allow the fruit to calm down and some savoury complexity to emerge, this could be really special.
