Green-tinged palate, not overly acidic, of smokey fruits, puckering lime juice and grey slate/minerals. Despite the range and intensity of flavours, the finish isn't all that long, although it does somewhat accumulate on the palate. Verging on medium-bodied, it's quite a lot of wine for the money, and would doubtless sing better with the right food.
