Still oaky, peppery, and jammy. A little more oak than I please. I thought the amount of oak would decline with cellaring but it didn’t.

Nearly black with magenta edges. Plum, cola and wet leather nose. Medium to full bodied, lots of blueberries, a bit of white pepper, tart black cherries, a surprising low amount of tannins, smoke, sage, and a somewhat pucker-mouth finish. A very mellow PS.

Murky color. Something of a mushroomy or forest floor nose. Initial taste sensation is tartness. A little spiciness. Very light red berry flavor. Seems one-dimensional. Not terribly full-bodied. Quite light on tannin. AN OK but not an aspirational wine.
