Teeling Whiskey Company Blackpitts Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey, 46%

Nice one I'd drink this again anytime at all but would rather spend this much money trying other things. It's smoky enough up top, with spicy and woody notes, followed by sweet cookies and some cream. Flavor's the same as the nose, or close enough. There's nothing holding this back from being a really good sipper, it's just not quite enough return on the purchase price.

I recently had the regular single malt and the Brabazon. This is better (and a lot more expensive) but it's not a huge step up. Arguably the regular single malt is the sweet spot for value.
