Ch�teau de Santenay Bourgogne Hautes-C�tes de Beaune Clos de la Chaise Dieu

Servert blindt: Sitrus, mineraler, noe hvite blomster, noe r�yk. Hint av alkohol. Samme i munn med gr�nnt preg. Ung. Noe p�re og tropisk. Mineralsk. Mye syre. Snillt fatpreg med litt r�yk (Tippet: Gruner Veltniner? Sauv. Bl. Loire?)

Butterscotch honey notes from this peak chardonnay. As good as it gets.

Have had two of my three bottles of this recently. First was drinkable but borderline premox. Second was lovely, round with no discernible oak. Light on its feet. Both were lighter in color, pale approaching straw. Like other notes, bottle improved as it came up a bit in temp. First bottle would have been an 83 for me, second a solid 89. I'm gonna wait on a formal score for my 3rd bottle.

Very drinkable on its own, I enjoyed the second bottle which was chilled for much longer.

Served with saut�ed trout. Nose and flavors were a bit closed. Good acidity and mouth feel. While this wine was pleasant, did not find it outstanding. Will try again tonight.

Classic burgundy Chardonnay very elegant not very layered but the one to take a note it has are beautiful

Solid, Lemon,

Light yellow. In nose and taste slightly green with a touch of stone and lemon. Medium bodied, this wine hopefully will improve with age. On 2nd tasting, much improved. One of my guests, a true wine lover but Chardonnay hater, declared it one of the few Chardonnays he's ever liked. Given the acidity and green character, needs time.
