Still minimal movement, lovely rich fruit to the fore, with a pleasing underlying minerality. The tannins are still soft and powdery, giving a little grip on the finish, but then the fine flavours of the finish overtake them. A lovely wine now and the next 20 years.

Rich glossy black fruit. Touch of pepper and mineral note, but still all about the pure fruit, with minimal decay. Powdery ripe tannins, lovely length and fruity finish.

Opened and breathed in bottle for an hour or so. Decanted after my return from the gym and served. Purple with a ruby rim. Nose of plums and prunes. Black and red Rowntree gummies with blackberries and blackcurrants sans sugar in mouth. Slightly gritty tannin finish in mouth, which I kinda like. Long finish. Perfect match for my Szechuan style Pot-au-feu with carrots, capsicums, and beef brisket and tendon long braised in a broth of fried garlic, red onions, ginger, …

Medium dark ruby with purple hue. Expressive nose of red and dark fruits with spices and pepper. Very nice palate. Good structure provided by soft tannins, fresh and not heavy. Medium+ bodied. Very solid aromatic length and typicity. Good QPR. 94+

Quite lush for Hermitage. Obviously far too young though.
