Sbragia Family Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley

Lemon citrus on nose, lemon filling in lemon creme pie is palate. Mineralogy that carries in to finish, muted acid. Should probably be consumed soon as the bright fruit remembered from an earlier tasting is faded.

A really nice and good QPR daily drinker sauvignon blanc from a really good producer. Drinking really well at this point, crisp and still very pleasantly acidic with still at least 1-2 years of time left. Well balanced, nicely acidic, tart nose of citrus and honey dew melon with lean minerally primary flavors of stone, lemon grass and a hint of white pepper up front with somewhat warmer honey and melon notes on the mid-late palate. Seems like it needs more time; tart with lemon; some grassiness; sweet follow-through.

3rd day better than 1st; textured and complex honeyed lemon apricot; complex with great length.

Straw and earthy-pungent nose; lemon and tart with some honeyed elements; complex with an acidic backdrop; zesty; light finish.

S: peach, clean linen T: tart Apple and pear at first, then some mineral tastes at the mid. Finish is lemongrass, semi-dry and herbal.

Straw and rubber; tart and sweet with zest and sharpness; pineapple, twigs and lemon; complex; long zippy finish.

Not as acidic as others. Liked it.
